Curriculum Development Principles
In every society, learning is considered the center of learning and teaching processes. These curriculums are the reflection of educational philosophy of the society, where the educational goals are built. Consequently, this is manifested in textbooks, which teachers and students are provided with. According to the goals, the society and the related monasteries make expectations about who and what kind of specializations need to be prepared and qualified. The program designers and developers are probably aware of the educational philosophy of their society, culture, level of development, needs, problems, characteristics, and learner’s improvement. Thus, they take the above-mentioned into account to develop a curriculum relevant to the updated issues that currently exist. By an large, the amin curriculum principles are; philosophical, social, psychological, and cognitive. Hence, the aim of the present study is to introduce the aforementioned principles and their impacts on curriculum. Finally, the researchers came into a number of concluding points; in addition, research recommendations are provided.
